This is the second year I've done this family's photos. Last year we were in the mountains...this year we were at the lake! I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about this shoot because I knew there wouldn't be trees for shade and I was concerned about the possibility of having to shoot into direct sunlight. However, my concerns were in vain because the light couldn't have been more perfect and we even got an amazing sunset to boot. This family is just the funnest! I mean, they went wake boarding in the DARK after the shoot ...how fun is that?! Anyway, they have a son leaving on a mission to Ecuador so we did a combined family/missionary session. Their wardrobe selection was on point, the location was beautiful, the light was perfect. It was an overall fantastic shoot. And I love that we ended it with a little splashing in the water.
